1/2 ciabatta, cut in 1/2” cubes
3 tomatoes, cut into 1” pieces

Mom's Taco Soup
Ingredients
2 to 3 pounds ground beef
1 can black beans rinsed and drained
1 can dark red kidney beans rinsed and drained
1 can of red beans or pinto beans washed and drained
2 cans of shoepeg corn drained
2 packages of taco seasoning
2 packages of powdered ranch dressing (this is a key ingredient)’
1 16 oz. can of shot tomatoes/stew tomatoes (don’t drain these)

Granny's Sweet Potatoes
3 cups of mashed potatoes
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 stick margeriner
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping
1 cup of pecans
1 c stick of butter
1 cup brown sugar
l cup self rising flour
Mix ingredients with potatoes and pour into a baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam or with margerine. Sprinkle topping on potatoes and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

When Grandaddy’s great grandfather, Capt. William Wallace, came home from the civil war he bought a bag of peas and found the bean seeds in the peas and planted them. They turned out to be good green beans and the seeds have been passed down through the generations. We have had the seed 25 years.
