Really glad I got a chance to catch Tinariwen. I first saw them when watching the World Cup Kick-Off concert at my hostel in Johannesburg. They were sandwiched between John Legend and Shakira or something like that.
They rolled out on that overblown stage chilled the fuck out and played this desert blues music that knocked me backwards. Their albums are amazing.
